This page explains our limited product warranty and the responsibilities that come with using electronic parts.
Limited warranty
We stand behind products against verified defects in materials or workmanship. Report a suspected defect within 30 days of delivery. If we verify it, we will repair, replace or refund the affected product, at our choice. A warranty period stated on a product page applies to that product.
What is not covered
Damage from misuse, reversed polarity, incorrect voltage or current, exceeding ratings, static discharge, soldering or modification, or normal wear.
Compatibility and integration
Check each product’s specifications and datasheet, and confirm compatibility with your equipment before use. You are responsible for your design, testing and integration, and for meeting safety requirements that apply to your application. Do not use these products in life-support or other safety-critical applications without your own qualification.
Cricket and other devices with a built-in battery
Cricket is a novelty electronic device, not a toy. Charge it only from a standard 5 V USB-A wall charger. Do not use or charge a device whose battery is swollen or damaged, and keep it away from heat. Please prank kindly: do not use it where unexpected noise could cause harm or real distress.
Your legal rights
This warranty gives you specific rights and does not limit rights you have under applicable law. See also Returns and Refunds.
